Professions

From Avardon
Revision as of 11:25, 30 September 2026 by Littlestar (talk | contribs) (→Gathering)

Professions in Avardon are sorted into two types, gathering and crafting. There is no limit on how many you can pick, but only a cap of a hundred points can be spread out overall. If you'd like to make sure you don't go over a cap, use /caps to set limits.

Gathering

First learn the appropriate skill in the library in Livarun or Scarabend. You can increase your skill through the NPC to 10, but not higher than that.

Now move into the territory or circle of the node and open up the RPR sheet, you will find buttons to gather under the Economy tab. If your land has claimed part of the territory with it's build, you will need to move outside of the land claim to be able to gather. People not in the clan are not affected.

To find the territories, go to avardon.com/map. There's an option in the far-right corner to see the profession areas.

This is different for Mining, where you have to enter the mine located on the in-game map and then click on the corresponding node!

Crafting

First learn the appropriate skill in the library in Livarun or Scarabend. You can increase your skill through the NPC to 10, but not higher than that.

Open your Crafting page by pressing "tab" or "j", then navigating to the Crafting page at the top of your screen.

Select your Profession, click on the item you would like to craft and if you have all the materials required in your inventory, you will create a crafting blueprint that will be spawned in your inventory. Creating this blueprint does not cost profession energy. You can then interact with the blueprint to start crafting. This blueprint can also be traded to other players of the same profession, to continue or finish crafting it.

The crafting roll is a 1d20 + bonuses and costs one profession energy. Bonuses include one tenth of your profession level (IE: 30 = +3) and the Artisan bonus if applicable. The crafting quota can be met cumulatively from all crafting rolls.

In select locations there are also Quests that can be done to gain experience and/or silver based on crafting professions.
