Warlocks are seekers of the knowledge that lies hidden in the fabric of the multiverse. Through pacts made with mysterious beings of supernatural power, warlocks unlock magical effects both subtle and spectacular.
Class Features
Spellcasting
Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your warlock spells, so you use your Charisma whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability.
Spell save DC = 8 + Charisma modifier + Proficiency Bonus (4)
Spell attack modifier = Charisma modifier + Proficiency Bonus (4)
You may memorize 10 spells and 4 cantrips to call upon from the Warlock Spell List.
You gain five invocations you can choose from at character creation. These invocations range from changing the way some of your spells behave to gaining entirely new abilities, or ways you can interact with your abilities.
Pact Boon
Choose one of the following pact boons:
Pact of the Blade
You can now bind your currently equipped weapon, gaining the following benefits for doing so:
- As long as the weapon is bound in this way you are always considered proficient in it.
- For the purposes of overcoming resistances, your weapon is considered magical.
- You can dismiss your weapon into a harmless demiplane from which you can later summon it again afterwards.
- You cannot be disarmed of your bound weapon.
Pact of the Tome
- Gain three new cantrips of your choosing which you can now cast as warlock cantrips. (NOTE: You cannot change these after whitelisting so make sure your choice is final before you commit to them!)
