At one time, Livarun was the capital of Avardon and stretched the full valley that it resides in to this day; even connecting to the food of the mountain that Count Farkas' castle, now called Castle Valemoor, sits upon. In more modern times, it is a small settlement built upon the ruins of a single district of the old city — a shadow of its former self, yet those clinging to the hope of better days use it as a hub. There is very little business conducted in Avardon that doesn't find its way past the front gate of Livarun.
