Avardon:Task List
More actions
This page lists tasks that wiki editors may currently engage in to contribute to the wiki.
Currently the wiki is missing lots of pages. However, one essential part of the wiki that currently has priority is having all of the classes listed on the wiki.
While class pages will have a more detailed layout in the future, for the moment it is important to simply have a class page with the essentials.
For class and subclass pages you may use the below template:
'''{{PAGENAME}}''' is a class available on Avardon.
Write a short introductory overview here. Explain the class fantasy, role, and what kind of character would is typically embodied by this class.
You can also mention:
* its general playstyle
* its strengths and weaknesses
* any Avardon-specific deviations if significantly different from 5e.

Describe the feature here. Think smite for paladin, wild shape for druid, etc.
* Bullet point for key effects, if needed

To add a class page, simply go to Classes and click any of the names there, red or otherwise. Then click the Edit Source button (see image)

.
This will open up the editor. The editor is relatively self explanatory if you have used software such as Microsoft Word. It functions similar to using HTML or BBcode. At this point you may paste the template above into the editor and fill it in following the guidance from within the template.
For figuring out what spells are available to every specific class, you may log into the server and use the arena to switch between classes. All the class features, available spells, etc, should be able to be discovered in-game. If this is not the case, please use the Wiki channel on the Avardon server to ask. Do not save a page containing information you are not 100% certain of. Players rely on the wiki to serve them correct information. But it is preferable that information is missing rather than incorrect.
