Oath of the Crown paladin is a paladin subclass based on structure and devotion to that structure. They have typically taken an oath to a structure of laws or a person. Crown paladins can take their oaths centered to a particular god and their ideals, although not all are taken this way. Crown paladins are often oath-sworn knights, elite guards serving nobles, or the enforcement of law in a nation.
Their tenets are typically laid out like this, although it may vary depending on what they take their oath to.
Law. The law is paramount. It is the mortar that holds the stones of civilization together, and it must be respected.
Loyalty. Your word is your bond. Without loyalty, oaths and laws are meaningless.
Courage. You must be willing to do what needs to be done for the sake of order, even in the face of overwhelming odds. If you don't act, then who will?
Responsibility. You must deal with the consequences of your actions, and you are responsible for fulfilling your duties and obligations.
