Rataj:

Hello there! We are glad that you are responsible and will dedicate a few minutes to read our rules.

Please don't just skip through the rules.
We want to keep our server friendly and immersive, prevent any possible attempts to spoil the game, and create a pleasant environment for all players to enjoy.
If you don't understand something, don't be afraid to ask us on Discord and we'll be more than happy to help you out.

At the same time we try to keep our rules concise and we rely on common sense of our players. These rules are not supposed to be exhaustive and all-encompassing. We expect our players to avoid any behavior such as rule-lawyering or acting against good faith and outside of the standards of our community, even if it doesn't break any specific rule outlined on this page.

We also want to make it very clear that no one is exempt from these rules. The rules apply equally to staff and players. In fact, staff members are under higher scrutiny to lead the community by example.

Community Rules
M.1 - Server Culture
Avardon is an open and welcoming community founded on the expectation, that we treat each other as adults and as if we were all playing at a single table at a friend's house. We expect all players to recognize their peers as partners in collaborative writing and respect them as equals. Play-to-Lift mentality is expected, not optional.

Harassment, discrimination, or toxicity of any kind is absolutely unacceptable and has no place in our community. We want this community to be a place for you and for us to love coming back to.

M.2 - Adults Only
This server is only available to those of adult age (18+), who are also mature enough to not make us doubt it.

No representation of child or child-like characters is allowed. All characters must be at least the adult age for their respective species and also at least 20 years old. Portrayal of pregnancy is also not allowed.

M.3 - Dispute Resolution
If you find yourself in a dispute with another player, try to cooperate and resolve it together. However, do not argue and do not attempt to enforce rules yourself, rather let us know through a ticket. You shall never threaten anyone with a moderation action nor with a ticket.

Do not freeze roleplay to wait for staff involvement, keep the scenes rolling. An exception to this rule is if your consent is violated. In such a case, you may remove yourself from the scene at any time to ensure your personal comfort.

Roleplaying Rules
R.1 - Character Creation
All players must follow and complete the whitelisting process before engaging in roleplay on the server. You are expected to follow the guidance provided by staff in your whitelisting ticket.

Characters are expected to follow the server lore in both their behavior and visuals. Please refer to the corresponding race page for average height and other requirements.

Once your whitelist is approved, you may only make realistic changes to the design of your character, such as changing hair style and warpaints. Your body and face should remain the same.

The depiction of your character should reflect your character sheet and equipment runes. Do not depict or roleplay abilities or equipment your character does not have.

R.2 - Roleplay Etiquette
When not in the spawn area, you are always considered to be In Character and should try your best to contribute to the immersive narrative experience with other players. While the concept of good etiquette may be difficult to define exhaustively, we expect you to at the very least:
* Minimize OOC chatter during roleplay scenes.
* React appropriately to the use of social rolls.
* Respect the agency of other players, do not force your actions on them without letting them react (powergaming).
* Take responsibility in being courteous and understanding towards players even if OOC tension arises. Step away if necessary.
* Respect and value the life of your own character, ensuring that they act in a way that best suits the situation (especially when they are in mortal danger, or at the mercy of another character).

R.3 - Metagaming
You are not allowed to take In Character actions based on knowledge you obtained as a player Out of Character. This is known as metagaming and is strictly forbidden on Avardon.

You should also avoid sharing any information OOC that could influence stories if acted upon IC. Especially if it relates to instances of on-going or very recent combat, details about other characters or their actions. Use common sense, don't ruin stories by enabling others to metagame.

It is important to maintain an immersive atmosphere where players are mostly only aware of what their character would know. Therefore, when in any doubt at all, do not share meta-knowledge with other players.

However, there are exceptions to this rule. You are allowed to share adventures of your own character, and discuss non-actionable things that have happened in the game. You can also look for roleplay and schedule roleplay through OOC means.

R.4 - Consent Sheets
Players are encouraged to create a consent sheet in their RPR profile to show what themes they are not comfortable with. It is the responsibility of every player to be aware of consent preferences of other players in a scene, as to not violate consent.

When unsure of a particular sensitive theme, the player wanting to initiate this theme is responsible for communicating to all players involved to confirm their approval, as violating preferences due to ignorance will never be excused.

Sensitive themes include, but are not limited to: graphical descriptions of gore, surgeries, torture, mutilation, and anything of erotic or sexual nature, especially rape (including the mentions of).

Be aware that consent sheets cannot be abused to avoid mechanical consequences, and it is the right of any player to request a fade-to-black (FTB) when wanting to carry out a sensitive topic but not wanting to write out the details of it.

When a player becomes part of a scene which does not conform to their consent sheet and where they are not a main actor, that player is to be given a chance to depart the scene without undue delay.

R.5 - Adult Content
While we allow the depiction of adult content (such as nudity and erotic roleplay) on our server, we expect players to do so in responsible manner.

Nudity is not allowed in main hub areas (with exception of player-owned houses). Characters are required to at the very least cover their genitals and breasts.

Scenes depicting sexual themes must take place in a private setting where it may be reasonably assumed that no other players may accidentally stumble upon them.

All scenes of this nature that could be considered non-consensual or dubious in any way require OOC consent that can be withdrawn at any time, allowing players to stop and even void such scene.

R.6 - Act Names
Players may use the <code>/act</code> command to change their display name in order to use an alias or conceal their identity, but must not use a name of another character, or one that impersonates them, including names of NPCs.

R.7 - LFRP Etiquette
When using the Looking for Roleplay functionality on the in-game map, players are expected to follow these guidelines:
* Disable your marker when your scene is locked (PvP intent is dropped).
* Do not approach LFRP marker promoting Solo/Duo/Trio with more than equal number of players if your intention is to take hostile actions.
* Do not use the Solo/Duo/Trio tags in a misleading way. It has to reflect the amount of people present in a scene. These tags also shouldn't be used to deliberately shield yourself against unfair odds when at your base.

Keep in mind the intention of this rule: LFRP etiquette exists to prevent large groups from metagaming information displayed on LFRP markers to secure unfair advantage in combat. LFRP in general serves as a tool to find roleplay, new contacts, new stories and start some narrative.

Game Rules
G.1 - Bugs, Cheating, Exploits
It may occur that bugs appear in our systems such as the combat or economy related scripts. We expect players to collaborate with the staff team in spotting and mitigating these bugs by reporting them in a timely manner.

We have zero tolerance policy for cheating, exploiting bugs and security vulnerabilities, abusing and misusing systems or enacting DDoS attacks and similar malicious actions.

G.2 - Always in a Clan
Every player has to be in a clan at all times. Even if they play solo. Any buildings not belonging to a clan will get deleted.

G.3 - Showing Equipment
Your worn armor and all weapons you intend to use have to be properly shown on your character design (utilizing Tot Custom).

You may not use any weapon in combat that your character isn't visually carrying (exceptions apply, such as pact weapons).

G.4 - Climbing
You may not climb onto structures, terrain, or other obstacles to enter or leave a clan base without using the Climb or Misty Step ability in RPR. Descending walls or terrain also requires using the Climb ability.

Building Rules
B.1 - Building Limits
Every clan may only have one base (with exception of temporary camps).

Do not build beyond boundaries of the map or under terrain.

Main entrance of any build must be accessible without climbing.

Build at least 50 tiles from a base of another clan, 100 tiles from the main hub, and 50 tiles from any public portal.

You may not build inside base game dungeons (caves are allowed, when in doubt ask in a ticket).

Land claim of your build should be proportionate to your clan size, it is not allowed to claim large area with sparsely placed building pieces.

Your build has to reasonably fit the setting and cannot be immersion breaking.

Always stay within the following limits:
Players !! Building Pieces !! Decorations
1 || 500 || 200
2-3 || 800 || 400
4-5 || 1500 || 600
6-9 || 2500 || 1000
10+ || 3500 || 1500
Additionally, no clan should have more thralls/mounts than players.

These limits can be increased with donator building extensions.

B.2 - Performance Considerations
All clans have to keep server and client performance in mind when building their bases. Do not overuse trees, containers (decorations with inventory) and custom textures, do not put too many light sources close together. Build responsibly.

B.3 - Inactivity
Please note that this rule is not in effect at the moment, as we are yet to introduce this system.

Players that have been inactive for more than 45 days may be removed from their clan by our system. If the inactive player is a clan owner, the build will be flagged as abandoned and other players may claim it or it may be removed.

Combat Rules
C.1 - Scene Lock
Once PvP is declared (intent has been dropped), the scene is locked and no further players shall join the scene until the consequence phase is over. Everyone within the range of a PvP intent is locked into the scene unless they are not targeted by anyone else within the scene lock, in that case they can either join, leave or observe (declared using <code>/pvp observe</code>). Any player that stumbles upon the scene while it's locked has to leave the area immediately and isn't allowed to watch. Those players cannot roleplay witnessing anything they saw in the locked scene.

Exception from this rule are spars, tournaments, arena fights and friendly brawls, these do not lock the scene and people are free to come and go.

Once a scene is unlocked after the conclusion of consequences, all participants of the scene must be allowed to leave the area without being subject to any subsequent combat encounters.

No size of any group in combat may exceed 5. The total cap for any PvP is always 10 players.

C.2 - Combat Etiquette
As combat scenes tend to have high tension, it is especially important to be cordial to other players when you fight their characters. While the concept of good etiquette may be difficult to define exhaustively, we expect you to at the very least:
* Act in a friendly and respectful manner in OOC towards your IC foes (they're your fellow storytellers, not your enemies).
* Make sure your conflict has story, roleplay has to preceed and follow a combat scene. PvP systems exist as a conflict resolution, to help you progress narrative.
* Emote only outside of your turn, ideally after.
* Try to be swift with your turns, do not prolong combat with micro-optimizations or OOC arguments.
* Help new players and those who don't fight often, answer their questions, and be patient with them.
* Follow the official Combat Rulings in all niche cases we provided additional clarifications for.

C.3 - Consequences
The winning party may impose consequences on the losing party after a fight is concluded. While delivering those consequences, players are in a consequence phase.

This phase can only last 30 minutes. If consequences take longer time than that, the scene is no longer locked and other players may interact with it. Under no circumstances shall players slow down the roleplay to exploit this rule.

We differentiate four categories of consequences:
* Minor consequences are mechanical consequences that may be applied at any time.
* Major consequences are mechanical consequences that may only be applied if the winning party had at max +1 advantage in numbers (i.e. in 1v1 or 3v2, but not in 3v1 or 5v3).
* Escalated consequences are mechanical consequences that may only be applied if the previous level was already applied at least once by one of the victors against the defeated or by the defeated on one of the victors in previous fights (and at least one major consequence has to precede even the first escalated one) while also fulfilling the conditions for a major consequence.
* Consented consequences are non-mechanical consequences that may be applied only if the losing party actively consents to such consequences.

Keep in mind that any thievery consequences may be applied from you on a specific target only once per 24 hours. In other words, you may not rob the same person again after already doing so within the last 24 hours.

Only one consequence shall be applied on a character. Consequence stacking is not allowed.

Unmasking is not considered a consequence and can be done freely on the defeated party after combat.

All possible consequence options are listed in the guide to consequences.

C.4 - Mugging
You may mug someone and it may (or may not) be reasonable for the target character to give up their belongings without a fight. However same rules as with PvP consequences apply. Players can only take what consequences rules would allow them as if a fight was taking a place. If the target complies and PvP takes place anyway, the attackers shall not deliver any further consequences.

C.5 - Limits on Hostile Actions
While hostile actions are major and important part of our server, there are some limitations to when and where you may perform them.

Hostile actions include but are not limited to: combat, thievery, mugging, attempts to restrict, restrain, or forcefully hold a person, but also threats, harassment, intimidation, provocation, and any other acts that would likely lead to combat.

You may not perform hostile actions when:
* You are in a PvP restricted area (Livarun or Scarabend).
* You are within 20 tile radius of a public waypoint.

Rataj:

This is a collection of various rulings and clarifications regarding combat encounters. It is an extension to the rules with more detailed and in-depth explanations to bring some light into niche situations that might arise.

Line of Sight
Some abilities such as ranged attacks, or spells that mention "point you can see" or "target you can see" in their description, require sight.

You cannot target character if:
* You don't see at least 50% of their body or the entirety of their head from your first person view.
* Selector (such as with Magic Missile or Eldritch Blast) doesn't let you use it due to missing Line of Sight.
* You are Blinded or have both of your eyes Maimed.
* There is an area effect that restricts vision in between you and the target or at least one of you stands in it without being able to see through with special abilities.
* The target is Invisible and you lack the ability to see invisible creatures.

Additionally, AoE spells that target a point cannot be placed into areas that limit visibility, such as area of Darkness. You may only target the edge of such area, as that's as far as you can see.

Observers
When a player chooses to observe a fight (having been present for its declaration and using <code>/pvp observe</code>), they are basically communicating to the other players upfront that their character either doesn't want to be involved with either side of the combat, or they are too scared to fight, or for any other reason refuse to fight. Observers are IC, and they chose NOT to fight under any change of circumstance. If they could ever possibly have a reason to join the fight, they have to either join it as an participant at the very beginning of the encounter, or leave the scene entirely. They cannot join into an ongoing fight or participate in the consequence phase or engage in another fight with the winning or losing party after the fight is concluded.

Also keep in mind, that any participant of the fight may void your decision to observe and include you as a target of their intent even and especially if they were the party being subject to a PvP intent, as per rule C.1:
<blockquote>Everyone within the range of a PvP intent is locked into the scene unless they are not targeted by anyone else within the scene lock</blockquote>

Doors
No player shall interact with doors during combat outside of using the Interact ability in RPR.

It takes an action to lock/unlock a door, a bonus action to open/close it, and an action with DC 15 to breach it, after which it becomes unusable for the duration of combat.

Breaching of a door in combat (and only in combat) is done using Breaching or Lockpicking skill (whichever is higher) or using the Spellcasting modifier in case of casters (if higher than the skills).

Decorations
1 || 500 || 200
2-3 || 800 || 400
4-5 || 1500 || 600
6-9 || 2500 || 1000
10+ || 3500 || 1500

Decorations
1 || 500 || 200
2-3 || 800 || 400
4-5 || 1500 || 600
6-9 || 2500 || 1000
10+ || 3500 || 1500

Rataj: Protected "Consequences" ([Edit=Allow only administrators] (indefinite) [Move=Allow only administrators] (indefinite))

Minor Consequences
Minor consequences are mechanical consequences that may be applied at any time.

* Petty Theft - You may rob the target of up to 20 silver coins.
* Beating - Equivalent of throwing in some additional punches or kicks to the defeated. Dealing 1 wound.

Major Consequences
Major consequences are mechanical consequences that may only be applied if the winning party had at max +1 advantage in numbers (i.e. in 1v1 or 3v2, but not in 3v1 or 6v3).

* Theft - You may rob the target of up to 50 silver coins.
* Battering - Equivalent of dealing some heavy blows to the defeated with intention to seriously harm. Dealing 2d4 wounds.
* Blood Letting - Filling a vial with the defeated's blood. Dealing 2 wounds and Bloodless condition for 8 hours.

Escalated Consequences
Escalated consequences are mechanical consequences that may only be applied if the previous level was already applied at least once by one of the victors against the defeated or by the defeated on one of the victors in previous fights (and at least one major consequence has to precede even the first escalated one) while also fulfilling the conditions for a major consequence.

Keep in mind that some of these consequences are drastic in nature and shall not be roleplayed in graphical detail without consent of everyone present in the scene. Use fade-to-black (FTB) when needed.
# Grievous Harm - Very serious beating of the defeated, leaving them severely injured. Dealing 5d6 wounds.
# Permanent Injury or Curse
#* Maiming - Mutilation, or disabling of a limb or an eye. Causing permanent Maimed status. The victim has the right to choose disabling over removal. The victim will also get a Bloody Bundle item, that has to be handed over to the victor if requested.
#* Hexing - Putting the victim under one of available Curses (Work in progress, currently unavailable).
# Life Threatening Injury - Seriously harming the defeated, leaving them to possibly die (they won't, but the victors show intention of leaving them to fate). Dealing 10d6+10 wounds.
# Execution - Character Kill (CK), end of story. Only possible with staff approval after having proven escalations from both sides, or when the victim repeatedly showed signs of No Value of Life (NVL) when other escalated consequences were enacted.

Consented Consequences
Consented consequences are non-mechanical consequences that may be applied only if the losing party actively consents to such consequences.

This can be any roleplay consequence as long as the losing party actively consents.
Most common example would be holding the losing party hostage or interrogating them.
Keep in mind that consent can be withdrawn at any time, which ends the scene.

Free Consequences
These consequences may be applied by the winning party and do not prevent another consequence from being applied.

* Unmasking - Removing an item of clothing, helmet, mask or other similar garment or item that obscures the face of the defeated character.

Rules

Rataj: /* M.2 - Adults Only */

Decorations
1 || 500 || 200
2-3 || 800 || 400
4-5 || 1500 || 600
6-9 || 2500 || 1000
10+ || 3500 || 1500

Rataj: /* B.1 - Building Limits */

Decorations
1 || 500 || 200
2-3 || 800 || 400
4-5 || 1500 || 600
6-9 || 2500 || 1000
10+ || 3500 || 1500

Dealing 2 wounds.

Rataj: Protected "New Players Guide" ([Edit=Allow only administrators] (indefinite) [Move=Allow only administrators] (indefinite))

Welcome to Avardon! This guide is aimed at players who are familiar with Conan Exiles roleplaying servers, as well as such systems as Roleplay Redux (RPR) and Tot!Custom. In this guide, we will show you how to enter the Avardon server, create your character, become whitelisted and enter the world at large. We will also introduce certain systems such as research, profession energy, and briefly introduce certain key concepts relating to combat.

Introduction
Avardon is what is known as a ‘domain of dread’. It is its own demiplane set in a remote corner of the Shadowfell. You can read more about the realm of Avardon in our Lore Introduction.

Characters may arrive in Avardon from other planes such as Toril or the Feywilds. At times the infamous mists of the demiplanes of dread may seep into other realms and inadvertently bring characters to Avardon. Or adventurous travellers may enter Avardon willingly, seeking opportunity or wishing to vanquish the darkness within.

Connecting
The #connection channel on the Avardon Discord server describes various convenient methods to connect to the server. Generally, you will wish to install the Conay launcher which will take care of installing mods and connecting to the server in a single click. Alternatively, the #connection channel provides a modlist.

Once you have launched Conan Exiles with the mods correctly installed, you will notice the ‘Quick Connect’ option in the main menu. Using this function is similar to using the Direct Connect function in the server list and the most convenient and quickest way to connect to the server.

Entering Avardon
As you enter the server for the first time, you will be prompted to provide a name for your character. Note that it is possible to change your name up until the point you are whitelisted using an NPC.

In the spawn area you will notice a few portals.

Character Creation: This portal leads you to an area where you can complete the steps to create and whitelist your character.

Design Area: This area provides you with a place and private changing rooms for creating your character appearance.

Arena: In the arena you can freely reset and create RPR sheets to try out various configurations of builds, spell selections, and equipment before settling on a class selection.

Avardon: This portal will lead you to the realm of Avardon. It is not possible to enter this portal until you completed the whitelisting process.

For the purpose of this guide please enter the Character Creation portal.

Character Creation
As you step through the portal and enter the Character Creation area, you will find a sequence of rooms numbered in the order you are recommended to visit them.

I. First Steps

In this room you will find a brief introduction to the lore and setting of the server. There are no important steps to take here other than immersing yourself in our setting.

II. Design

The next recommended step is to finish your character design. This includes selecting a race and potentially selecting a class, as your class selection may influence the way you design your character’s outfit. There are mannequins placed around the room that you can interact with. If you interact with a mannequin by pressing E, you can change their appearance to any available race to see an example appearance for that particular race.

There is also a portal leading to the Design Area, where you may find private changing rooms for the purpose of customising your character without an audience.

III. Whitelisting

At this stage we can start the whitelisting process. Whitelisting on Avardon is relatively simple. Important is that you take a screenshot of your character in front of the heightboard to provide in your whitelist ticket. For this screenshot, please take account of the following:

* Ensure that the camera is at a straight angle and not tilted up or down to distort the height of your character.
* There is a mannequin located next to the heightboard. For your screenshot to be valid, you must set the mannequin to your same race and include them in your screenshot.
* Make sure that you are not covering up any of your characters racial features with clothing or armour. This includes horns, tails, ears, and special skin textures depicting fur, scales, or other racial features. Wear a light outfit that does not obscure the general contours of your character’s physique.
* The picture should display the character’s complete body, from head to toes.
* Take a screenshot using a screen capture tool. Steam provides functionality for this. But you can also use Ansel (Alt+F2 by default) or the Tot photo tool (Ctrl+B). Do not use your mobile device to capture a photo of your monitor.

Staff may provide you additional instructions during the whitelisting process. For example, they may ask you to provide additional screenshots or provide feedback on your character’s appearance should it not conform to the racial expectations of your character’s selected race or general expectations of reasonable proportions and character portrayal.

IV. Character Sheet

While your whitelist ticket is still pending approval, you may continue to set your character sheet.

As a reminder, you may reset your sheet until you have verified your whitelist at the whitelist verification NPC (Lora). You can reset yourself by talking to Snorts, a kobold NPC located in the Character Sheet room.

Be sure to spend all your attribute and skill points.

V. Talents

In the Talents room you are able to perform your spell selection, feat selection, and the selection of special class features such as a warlock’s invocation or a divine soul’s special spell selection.

It is important to note that you can freely change your spell selection as long as you have not verified yourself at the verification NPC (Lora). You can freely do so using the spell selection NPC, Hoodini.

It is equally important to note that should you wish to change your feat and class feature selections, you will have to reset your entire character sheet using Snorts in the previous room. You may set your feat and class features by talking to Falko.

If you are uncertain about your selections, you may talk to Abubakar to be transported to the Arena. Here you can freely change sheets and selections and test them out in combat with other players to get a feel for your class and subclass and the abilities and spells that they have.

VI. Finalisation

Once you are satisfied with all your selections, you are free to enter the final portal at the end of the Talents room.

You will eventually return to the spawn area. Here you may speak to the verification NPC (Lora) to confirm your whitelist.

* <u>IMPORTANT NOTE.</u> Once you verify yourself with Lora, you can no longer adjust your character sheet, spell selections, feat selections or any other parts of your character build. While you remain unverified, you may still change your spell selection and feat selections. Though you may not deviate from the race, class, and subclass you have indicated in your Whitelist Ticket.

Visiting the Hub & Profession Energy
Once you have verified and entered the realm of Avardon through the portal you will find yourself just outside the main settlement of Avardon, Livarun. Within this settlement there are a couple of important NPCs relating to research and profession energy.

Profession Energy is gained at a rate of two per day. You may gain your daily Profession Energy by using the ‘Economy Reset’ ability in RPR. You can store up to four Profession Energy.

Profession Energy represents time and effort exerted by your character in the pursuit of knowledge and benefits from labour. You use your Profession Energy in the following ways:

* Learning the basics of any given profession, such as foraging, blacksmithing or chirugery, amongst others. For every spent Profession Energy you gain 5 skill levels in the chosen profession.
* Learning a new language. For every spent Profession Energy you gain 5% of the chosen language. As you learn a language you will be able to comprehend it better when listening to people speak the given language.
* Crafting or gathering using your profession. Such as smithing as a Blacksmith, or gathering from nodes as a Forager.
* Reselect your spells. This costs two profession energy for casters that have prepared spells. Specifically Wizard, Druid, Cleric and Paladin. Other casters will have to pay an additional 50 silver coin.

You may learn up to 100 points of skill in any combination of professions. For example, you may specialise by learning 100 of a single profession. Or you may spread out your points across four different professions. Should it be the case that you wish to unlearn a profession to free up skill points, you may speak to Gilderoy in the hub to help you with your skill issues.

Research such as learning a language or new profession may be done by speaking to Rubeus Farquaad in the hub.

Combat and Conflict
While in the realm of Avardon you may find yourself at odds with other players or some of the various creatures and non-player entities that exist within the realm. Avardon provides a combat system to resolve such situations.

When combat is about to occur, any of the involved players may decided to Roll Initiative and target nearby players. Targeted players are compelled to engage in combat. It is not possible not to consent to combat when you are the target of another player initiating combat.

Any targeted players roll initiative automatically and the system will provide a turn order, resolving ties in rolls as needed.

The status bar can be used to quickly view your HP, movement range, AC and spell slots. The blue pocket watch button can be used to start your turn. It will turn red during your turn and you may press it again to end your turn.

If you would wish to learn more about the details of Combat and Movement, please see our Combat Guide and our Movement Guide.

Your Journey Starts Here
All the above should provide you with the necessary information to start your journey here on Avardon. Should you have any questions, you are always welcome to use #questions channel on the Avardon Discord or open a ticket.

May the Gods have mercy on your soul.

Quick chronological facts
(temporarily copied here from the Farkas' article)
* Young Farkas was being prepared to rule Avardon (as primary successor).
* Rival House Steinberg takes rule instead after Gabor's death.
* Farkas works really hard to prove himself as capable leader to the people of Avardon, earning great popularity.
* Farkas becomes the ruler and is beloved, but paranoid and obsessed with securing his power.
* Farkas orders killing of young Steinbergs. Generals avoid killing children, only one gets killed.
* Farkas loses trust in the loyalty of his own men, looks into other solutions such as diseases and magic.
* Disease gets out of hand, killing many people. Problems in the county are solved by strict ruling.
* Farkas' rule is being challenged and he becomes more obsessed with keeping the title in his family.
* Farkas catches the disease himself and becomes infertile, however his wife is still pregnant.
* Farkas kills his own wife after she gives birth to a third daughter, leaving him without male successor.
* Dark Powers turn Avardon into a Domain of Dread, a purgatory that mockingly reflects Farkas' evil acts.
* The county becomes less sustainable, poverty and famine cause uprisings and civil wars.
* Farkas uses his newly acquired powers to put people in line, to enforce law with iron fist.
* Monsters are created and used to follow Farkas' will, causing decay in the land.
* Population plummets, too many die and survivors hide where they can, scavanging remnants of civilization.
* Everything is slowly being rebuilt by surviving locals and foreigners taken by the mists.
* Factions arise, Farkas becomes more of an inactive ruler, letting them fight each other. Divide and conquer.

Building Rules
B.1 - Building Limits
Every clan may only have one base (with exception of temporary camps).

Do not build beyond boundaries of the map or under terrain.

Build at least 50 tiles from a base of another clan.

Main entrance of any build must be accessible without climbing.

You may not build inside base game dungeons (caves are allowed, when in doubt ask in a ticket).

Always stay within the following limits:
Players !! Building Pieces !! Decorations
1 || 500 || 200
2-3 || 800 || 400
4-5 || 1500 || 600
6-9 || 2500 || 1000
10+ || 3500 || 1500

* Battering - Equivalent of dealing some heavy blows to the defeated with intention to seriously harm. Dealing 2d4 wounds.
* Blood Letting - Filling a vial with the defeated's blood. Dealing 2 wounds.

(The victim has the right to choose disabling over removal, if they're not comfortable with it!)
#* Hexing - Putting the victim under one of available Curses.

Shifters are similar to humans in height and build but are typically more lithe and flexible. Their facial features have a bestial cast, often with large eyes and pointed ears; most shifters also have prominent canine teeth. They grow fur-like hair on nearly every part of their bodies. While a shifter’s appearance might remind an onlooker of an animal, they remain clearly identifiable as shifters even when at their most feral.

Where wishing fails, ancient magic can offer a heart’s desire—at least, for a time. Hexbloods are individuals infused with eldritch magic, fey energy, or mysterious witchcraft. Some who enter into bargains with hags gain their deepest wishes but eventually find themselves transformed. These changes evidence a hag’s influence: ears that split in forked points, skin in lurid shades, long hair that regrows if cut, and an irremovable living crown. Along with these marks, hexbloods manifest hag-like traits, such as darkvision, and a variety of magical methods to beguile the senses and avoid the same.

While many hexbloods gain their lineage after making a deal with a hag, others reveal their nature as they age—particularly if a hag influenced them early in life or even before their birth. Many hexbloods turn to lives of adventure, seeking to discover the mysteries of their magic, to forge a connection with their fey natures, or to avoid a hag that obsesses over them.

A subterranean folk, goblins can be found in every corner of the multiverse, often beside their bugbear and hobgoblin kin. Long before the god Maglubiyet conquered them, early goblins served in the court of the Queen of Air and Darkness, one of the Feywild’s archfey. Goblins thrived in her dangerous domain thanks to a special boon from her—a supernatural knack for finding the weak spots in foes larger than themselves and for getting out of trouble. Goblins brought this fey boon with them to worlds across the Material Plane, even if they don’t remember the fey realm they inhabited before Maglubiyet’s rise. Now many goblins pursue their own destinies, escaping the plots of both archfey and gods.
